A little more about Liz Vitorri-Koch and her lovely shop Hatched, where I will be at 4 pm tomorrow. Hatched is shop of eco-friendly goods for small and big kids that has been thriving in Jamaica Plain for over ten years – first on Green St. opening in 2005, and then moving in 2014 to the spot just to the left of the Centre Street City Feed. Liz has been a supporter of local artists in many ways, from hosting Kate True’s walnut ink portrait sessions, to being open this past summer, to trying out my two books in her shop as well as displaying the work of many other local artists.
I most love the sweet wooden toys in her shop, the delightful plush creatures, and a very fine selection of organic fiber clothing for kids. We will have tea and cookies for you, and we can share resources of what’s getting you through this disorienting transition.
Enjoy this fantastic, autumnally awesome Friday and hope to see you tomorrow!
